Director Danny Boyle turns his eye on the harsh reality of life in the Bombay Slums and transforms it into an exhilarating, colourful, confronting,ultimately uplifting story of love, loyalty, betrayal and hopes raised, hopes dashed. You will not be bored for a minute, the pace and the sheer cinematic excitement will carry you along. But be warned, this is not a Hollywood saccharine view of poverty. This is real.
