“a buddy movie that actually ponders the nature of what it is to be a buddy”

Daniel Auteuil as François, discovers that he has no true friends.  In order to win a bet he has to find one in ten days, so the scene is set for an odd couple kind of film.  But this one is directed by Patrice Leconte and although, in some respects, a light comedy, it nevertheless takes its subject seriously and reflects on what friendship really means.  Stars two of France’s favourite actors, Daniel Auteuil and Dany Boon.
