Olivier Dahan was born n in 1967 in La Ciotat, on France’s Mediterranean coast, near Toulon. He studied art in Marseille.  His early career was as an artist and he has had several exhibitions of his work.  He has also worked on music videos prior to his first feature film in 1994.  He has directed several other critically acclaimed films in France, and worked on cult/action international movies.
