“It’s silly, but it feels pretty good.” -  Jim Emerson, RogerEbert.com, Chicago Sun-Times

“Akin has infused his film with so much goodwill and humanity that you swallow every overcooked twist and turn.” Jeff Meyers - Metro Times, Detroit

Everything is going wrong for the owner of a restaurant in Hamburg, and this light-hearted comedy does not try to do anything amazing with its material.  It is a light-hearted comedy about customer expectations, friendship, young love, money problems - life when you are young in fact.  Inspired apparently by the experiences of its star, the best friend of the director, it gently puts a smile on your face, whilst teaching you a little about modern multicultural Germany and its problems.

Fatih Akin, director of such wonderful - and serious - German films, Head On and The Edge of Heaven takes the opportunity to relax with friends and have fun whilst making his audience happy too,
