Alternately scary, funny and inspiring, Bong Joon-ho’s first-class monster mash is also a scalding rebuke to U.S. interventionism, profiteering and general developing-world opportunism, and a lovely story of familial bonding. In a word, amazing.”  Ian Grey - Orlando Weekly

The movie pops up out of nowhere, grabs you in its big, messy tentacles, and drags you down into murky depths, where social satire coexists with slapstick, and B-movie clichés mutate into complex metaphors.”  Dana Stevens - Slate

And now for something completely different from CFS’ traditional offerings.  We are not sure we have ever shown a ‘monster movie’ before - but this one promises to be different and surprising - it has been described as a cross between Little Miss Sunshine and Alien, which is somewhat tantalising.

Enjoy a different experience - the horror genre is not our usual beat.  Try something different and you may be pleasantly surprised.
