The Water Horse

Kid’s screening

    September 20

“It declines to take itself seriously, yet manages, sometimes simultaneously, to be exciting, instructive, cheerfully absurd and genuinely affecting.”  Joe Morgenstern - The Wall Street Journal

“Few kid films manage to assemble this much ambition alongside this much sincere, sweet emotion.”  Tasha Robinson - Onion AV Club

Set in World War two this is really a story about a boy and his pet - how a cute little baby animal can grow up to be something quite else, but how one adapts to size as they grow.  Beautiful to look at and totally engaging, this is a Free Willy for our times.

Enjoy the difference of a trusting and totally giving relationship between different species in a world at war.  Enjoy the difference of magic!

This film will begin at 10.00 am
